Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to AnchorMind and AnchorBuddy, both operated by Anchor Wellness LLC ("Anchor Wellness," "we," "our," or "us"). It explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use either product, our related websites, and connected features. Product-specific features may differ between AnchorMind and AnchorBuddy.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the product and features you choose to use, we may collect:

• Account information: name, email address, display name, avatar, preferences, timezone, and authentication identifiers.
• Wellness information: mood check-ins, journal entries, goals, habits, routines, meditation activity, sleep-related context, stress inputs, and other wellness information you choose to provide.
• AI conversations and memory: messages you send to AI features, relevant conversation history, preferences, and information you ask the product to remember.
• Subscription information: plan tier, billing period, purchase status, and transaction metadata. Complete payment-card details are handled by the applicable payment provider and are not stored by Anchor Wellness.
• Device and usage information: device type, operating system, app usage, session information, crash data, IP address, timestamps, and error logs.
• Communication information: if you opt into SMS or other messaging features, your phone number, message content, delivery status, and related communication metadata may be processed to provide that feature.

3. Google Account and Connected Google Services

If you sign in with Google, we may receive basic account information such as your email address, name, profile image, and authentication identifiers. Additional Google services, including Calendar or Gmail, are not accessed unless a specific feature offers that connection and you separately authorize the requested permissions.

When connected Google features are available, AnchorBuddy may use authorized calendar or email context to make reminders, check-ins, and AI responses more relevant to your daily life. We request only the permissions needed for the feature you choose, and you can revoke access through the product, your Google account, or both.

4. AnchorBuddy Connections and Proactive Features

AnchorBuddy is designed as a proactive AI companion. Where available, you may choose to enable proactive check-ins, notifications, SMS, memory, and connected data sources. These features are optional and should only operate after the permissions or consent required for that feature are provided.

• Health and sleep context: if a native app offers HealthKit integration and you enable it, AnchorBuddy may access only the health-data categories you authorize. Health data is not used for advertising.
• Calendar context: if enabled, authorized schedule information may be used to make check-ins and reminders more timely and relevant.
• Email context: if enabled through a supported provider, authorized email information may be used to understand user-selected context and priorities. Access depends on the permissions you grant.
• Proactive notifications: if enabled, AnchorBuddy may send app notifications based on routines, habits, reminders, or other context you have chosen to share.
• SMS: if enabled, AnchorBuddy may send and receive text messages through a messaging provider. Standard carrier messaging rates may apply.

5. How We Use Information

• Provide, personalize, and improve AnchorMind and AnchorBuddy.
• Authenticate accounts and maintain account security.
• Generate AI responses and maintain user-directed context or memory.
• Provide wellness tools, habits, reminders, check-ins, and connected features you choose to use.
• Send service, account, push, or SMS communications when enabled.
• Process subscriptions and purchases.
• Measure performance, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and protect users and our services.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information to:

• Service providers: hosting, authentication, analytics, AI, messaging, payment, and infrastructure providers that support the services.
• Connected-service providers: only as needed to complete a connection or action you authorize.
• Legal and safety recipients: when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, security, or safety.
• Business-transfer recipients: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

8. Your Choices and Controls

• Access, correct, export, or request deletion of your account information where available.
• Disable optional notifications, proactive check-ins, SMS, memory, or connected services.
• Revoke permissions for Google, HealthKit, calendar, email, or other connected services through the applicable product or provider settings.
• Withdraw consent for optional processing by disabling or disconnecting the related feature.

9. Data Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, maintain legitimate business and security needs, and meet legal obligations. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information in transit and at rest. No system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Users must meet the minimum age requirements stated in the applicable product and platform terms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age without required consent.

11. International Transfers and Jurisdictional Rights

Information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information. We do not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our products, integrations, or legal obligations change. Material changes may be communicated through the app, website, email, or another appropriate method.
